Things to Do in Lekki Phase 1

A local's shortlist — art, beaches, food, and nightlife, all within minutes of The Cove.

Lekki Phase 1 punches above its size: world-class art, beach bars, fine dining, and family fun are all a short ride away. Here's where to start.

Art & culture

Begin at Nike Art Gallery (a 2-minute walk from The Cove) — five floors and thousands of works, free to visit. For more, Terra Kulture pairs gallery space with theatre, a bookshop, and a well-loved restaurant.

Beaches

Landmark Beach and Elegushi Beach (both ~12–15 minutes away) are the easy options — sand, bars, restaurants, and live music at weekends. For something calmer, take a short boat to Tarkwa Bay for swimming and surfing.

Food & nightlife

Circa Lagos is the go-to for rooftop dining and cocktails; Bungalow does continental and Nigerian dishes in a garden setting. Admiralty Way and nearby Lekki have a dense, ever-changing line-up of bars and lounges for the evening.

Nature & family

Lekki Conservation Centre(~15 minutes) has one of Africa's longest canopy walkways, plus monkeys and mangrove forest — a great half-day with kids. The Palms and Landmark also have cinemas, bowling, and arcades for rainy days.
